Jotta pikkuneiti saisi näissä myös hyin nukuttua, ompelin rattaisiin häikäisysuojan. Marimekon ysmystä löytyi siihen sopiva huivikangas, joka maksoi vain 3 euroa! Minusta tuntuu että Marimekon ystävyysmyynti on yksi parhaista asioista maailmassa... Kankaan reunustin vinonauhalla ja kulmiin tein pienet lenkit. Niihin punotin pienet muoviset verhokoukut joilla kiinnitys rattaisiin onnistuu helposti. Rakkaista marimekon tilkuista syntyi hauskat hahmot jotka nyt pomppivat kyydissä mukana. Silminä jälleen kerran napit ja hymy ketjusilmukoista. Mukaan lähti iso kassillinen uusia ihania kankaita. Varsinkin jos niin saa lisättyä kotiin japanilaista tunnelmaa... Tässä olen kokeillut paljon mainostettua decoupage- tekniikkaa, joskin en siitä kauheasti innostunut. Päällystin pari laatikkoa japanilaisella sanomalehdillä. Mielestäni pinnasta ei tullut tarpeeksi kestävä, mutta luultavasti lakkaa ei ollut myöskään tarpeeksi. Valitettavasti lakka on aika arvokasta eikä sitä voi ihan lähikaupasta käydä santsaamassa. Lakkakokeilun jälkeen palasin takaisin kontaktimuovin pariin ja päällystin tyttären huoneeseen pikkulaatikon pinkeillä origamipapereilla. Yksi kontaktimuovirulla riittää vaikka mihin! Seuraavaksi suunnittelen samasta sarjasta olevaa cd-laatikkoa kaveriksi. Parikymmentä vuotta vanha nukke vain kaipasi hieman tuunausta. Tämä olikin elämäni ensimmäinen nukenvaate, kaipaisinkin selvästi vielä lisäharjoitusta....</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Pallollista trikoota löytyi kaapista ja joustavasta kankaasta tehty mekko onkin helppo lapsen opetella myöhemmin itsekkin pukemaan. Tämän keppihevosen tein siskontytölleni viime jouluksi. Kankaaksi valitsin perheen tyyliin sopivaa retrokangasta. Naulakosta revittiin ensin pois kumiset tutit ja maalasimme sen valkoiseksi. Kaikki käytämämme maalit olivat hyvin kulutusta kestävää ja sopivan kiiltävää Miranol-maalia. Ostimme pienet purkit perusvärejä ja niitä sitten sekoittelin mieleni mukaan. Sinellistä löytyi erikokoisia puupalloja naulakon päihin. Koska palloissa oli läpimentävä reikä, mieheni liimasi puolikkaat puutapit pallojen sisään ja hioi pinnan sileäksi ennen maalaamista. Piirsin kuvat valkoisella paint markerilla tavallisille mustille häikäisysuojille. Kankaina käytin kaapista löytyneitä vanhoja Marimekon tilkkuja ja vuoreksi pilkkullista trikoota, huivissa on reikä josta toisen pään voi vetää läpi. Helppo laittaa lapsenkin itse kaulaan.
